This movie in not one of the best when compared to the previous versions of Spiderman. I din’t understand why the ratings are this much high. There is weak link of love story in the film. Spider man being a 15 year old boy could not wait to help people even when he was asked to wait patiently to join the avenger team. A shipwreck scene was considered as the best scene in the movie and here spider man failed miserably. Ship was cut in half with a powerful weapon and the two half’s were falling down to either side. At first spider boy could hold it with his web and then it fails. Here iron man comes for the rescue and seals the ship back.
Home coming displays the immaturity of peter as a school boy.His highschool crush Liz, is remarkably kind and understanding when he flakes out on her. Even the movie's primary antagonist, Adrian Toomes, is not without merit. Yes, he's a criminal. But he loves his family dearly. "I'm not doing anything to [them]," he rationalizes to Peter. "I'm doing this for [them]."
